| DONATIONS
& CONTACTS The
Ivy Inter-American Foundation needs your donations to help us
continue to support the needs of people throughout the Americas. Because
everyone who works for the Foundation is a volunteer, 100% of
your contribution will be used to directly support those who need
it most.
Donations may be given to the Foundation
at large or may be earmarked for direct assistance to one of the
organizations already supported by the Foundation or for work
in a specific country in the Americas.
MARTA PHILLIPS SCHOLARSHIP
FUND
The
Ivy-Peru Committee has started
the Marta Phillips Scholarship Fund to assist in furthering the
post-high school education of a chosen youth from
CIMA.
This fund has been named in honor of
Marta Phillips, who for many years has dedicated her time and effort
to work tirelessly and diligently for the needy children of Peru.
The Scholarship will be awarded annually on December 31, Marta's
birthday, to a youth who demonstrates eagerness to study and
readiness to overcome adverse situations through education.
The 2006 Scholarship was awarded to
Daniel Cuzquet,
a former CIMA boy, now grown with his own family. Daniel is studying
carpentry.
The Scholarship donations are kept in a separate account. The size of the Scholarship
awarded each year will be determined by the annual interest accrued
by this account.
